Outlook app for Android HTML email signature installation guide

Like the iPhone version, the Outlook app for Android has no HTML signature field. The reliable method is to build your signature on a desktop app, email it to yourself, then copy and paste it into the Outlook app.

  1. 1Get your signature into an email

    1. Design your signature in Mirosign and install it in a desktop app first (for example the new Outlook, Outlook for Mac or Thunderbird).
    2. Send yourself an email so it contains your signature.
  2. 2Copy the signature on your phone

Open that email in the Outlook app on your Android phone. Press and hold the signature, drag the handles to select all of it, then tap Copy.

  3. 3Paste into Outlook settings

    1. In the Outlook app, tap your profile icon (top left), then the settings gear.
    2. Tap Signature, clear the default text, then press and hold to Paste.
    3. Go back to save, then compose a test email to check it.

Tip: if pasting doesn’t hold the formatting, the free Spark app for Android handles HTML signatures more reliably.
